Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand tools and power equipment under supervision
- Maintain safe work areas by following OSHA guidelines and wearing PPE
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying materials
- Support concrete work, demolition, and framing operations
- Complete daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance tasks
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – we train all new hires
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in teams
- Reliable transportation to job sites within the Pittsburgh area
