Responsibilities
- Assist senior tradespeople with construction tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Maintain clean and organized job sites by removing debris and securing tools/equipment
- Operate basic construction machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws) under supervision
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Load/unload construction materials and transport them to designated areas
- Perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying, and operating hand tools
- Participate in team briefings and daily progress updates
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout shifts
- Valid driver's license with clean record (required for equipment operation)
- Willingness to work in outdoor conditions (heat, rain, dust)
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- No prior experience necessary – training provided
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
