Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and equipment operation
- Maintain clean and organized job sites by removing debris and ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Operate basic hand tools and machinery under supervision (e.g., shovels, saws, power drills)
- Read and interpret simple blueprints and project instructions
- Perform physical labor including lifting, digging, and carrying materials up to 50 lbs
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety guidelines and company policies
- Support team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
