Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction tasks including excavation, demolition, and material handling
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Prepare and clean work areas by removing debris and maintaining site safety
- Operate basic hand tools (hammers, saws, drills) and power equipment under supervision
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Read blueprints and project plans to understand task requirements
- Perform general site maintenance and support other crew members as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with minimal supervision
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (company-provided)
- Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork and safety
