Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with site preparation, material handling, and basic construction tasks
- Safely operate hand tools (hammers, saws, drills) and light equipment under supervision
- Maintain clean, organized job sites by removing debris and managing waste materials
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Load/unload construction materials and transport supplies to designated areas
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, carrying, and operating machinery as needed
- Complete daily reports and communicate progress to site supervisors
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – entry-level positions available
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with consistent attendance
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
