Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by digging, leveling, and clearing debris.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport building materials, tools, and equipment safely.
- Tool Operation: Use hand and power tools under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
- Assisting Trades: Support electricians, carpenters, and plumbers with various tasks as needed.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site in accordance with safety regulations.
- Reading Plans: Basic ability to read and understand blueprints and safety signage.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) for extended periods.
- Work Ethic: A strong desire to work hard, learn new skills, and be a team player.
- Availability: Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as project schedules require.
- Tools: Willingness to provide own basic safety gear (steel-toed boots) or obtain them.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills to follow instructions from supervisors.
- License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
