Responsibilities
- Assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential/commercial settings
- Follow blueprints, schematics, and safety protocols to ensure code compliance
- Operate hand/power tools (drills, saws, testers) under supervision
- Conduct basic system inspections and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with senior electricians on complex projects
- Document work progress and maintain clean job sites
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- No prior electrical experience required
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Physical ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift 50+ lbs
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Willingness to obtain North Carolina electrical license within 6 months
