Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Install and connect wiring, fixtures, and equipment according to safety standards
- Conduct routine inspections to identify electrical hazards and ensure compliance
- Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Document work performed and maintain accurate project records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and reliability
- Willingness to obtain California electrician certification within 12 months
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed
