Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC)
- Perform inspections and troubleshooting on residential/commercial systems
- Install conduits, wiring, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures
- Maintain organized workspaces and safe job sites
- Document work progress and complete project reports accurately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Basic understanding of electrical principles and safety protocols
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Willingness to obtain California electrician trainee certification
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
