Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems
- Follow blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and national electrical codes
- Perform routine inspections and safety checks on electrical equipment
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Participate in ongoing training programs to develop technical skills
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Document work activities and report any issues to supervisors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in physically demanding conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- No prior electrical experience required – training provided
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
