Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
- Read blueprints and technical schematics to understand project requirements
- Use hand/power tools safely and effectively for electrical work
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA standards on job sites
- Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting of electrical components
- Prepare work areas and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Complete documentation and reporting for completed tasks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid California driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various conditions
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to participate in paid apprenticeship program
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to job sites
