Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to execute precise wiring configurations
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and electrical codes (NEC) at all times
- Collaborate with senior electricians on complex projects and troubleshooting
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment
- Document work orders and maintain accurate project records
- Assist with emergency electrical repairs during on-call rotations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Completion of accredited electrical trade program or technical school preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and hand tools
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various physical conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- OSHA 10-hour certification a plus
- Willingness to pursue state electrical licensure
