Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Install wiring, conduits, outlets, switches, and circuit breakers
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tests on electrical components
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Prepare work areas and clean up after completing tasks
- Document work progress and maintain equipment logs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Basic understanding of electrical principles and terminology
- Ability to stand, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to complete required apprenticeship training
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Own basic hand tools (wire strippers, pliers, etc.)
