Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Follow NEC (National Electrical Code) and OSHA safety standards
- Assist with troubleshooting electrical issues using diagnostic tools
- Perform rough-in and finish electrical work for new constructions
- Collaborate with journeymen and project managers on job sites
- Document work completed and maintain equipment inventory
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Basic understanding of electrical principles and systems
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to obtain Oregon electrical apprentice license
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
