Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications to ensure code-compliant installations
- Perform diagnostic testing using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and specialized diagnostic equipment
- Install and troubleshoot conduit systems, wiring, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures
- Adhere strictly to NFPA 70E safety protocols and California Title 24 energy standards
- Document work progress, material usage, and system performance using digital reporting tools
- Participate in emergency call-out rotations for critical system failures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with completion of accredited electrical trade program (or equivalent apprenticeship hours)
- Basic understanding of Ohm's Law, AC/DC circuits, and electrical theory fundamentals
- Valid California Electrician Trainee (ET) certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- OSHA 10-hour construction safety certification (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Proficient in using hand tools (wire strippers, conduit benders, fish tapes) and power tools
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and tolerate heights up to 30 feet
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Pass pre-employment background check and substance screening
