Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Transport tools, equipment, and materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Prepare work areas by gathering necessary supplies and cleaning up debris after project completion.
- Learn to read and interpret basic blueprints and technical schematics under supervision.
- Perform basic pipe cutting, threading, and fitting tasks.
- Respond to service calls in a professional manner and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding service needs and job progress.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude are a plus.
- Willingness to obtain required state licenses and certifications as training progresses.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work well in a team environment.
