Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using specialized testing equipment
- Collaborate with journeymen and senior electricians on complex projects
- Document work performed and maintain accurate service records
- Participate in continuous skills training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Physical ability to climb ladders, lift 50+ lbs, and work in confined spaces
- Basic math and measurement skills for accurate calculations
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
- Willingness to obtain Ohio electrical license within 12 months
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Columbus metro area
- Pass background check and drug screening
