Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications to ensure code compliance
- Conduct safety inspections using diagnostic tools and multimeters
- Collaborate with senior electricians to troubleshoot complex electrical issues
- Assist in upgrading and retrofitting existing electrical infrastructure
- Adhere to OSHA and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards
- Document work orders, materials used, and project progress
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training preferred
- Basic understanding of electrical theory and circuit fundamentals
- Ability to use hand tools and diagnostic equipment safely
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to work in various environments (heights, confined spaces)
- Willingness to pursue state electrical licensing with company support
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
