Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Prepare job sites, including laying out materials and organizing tools according to safety standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, strictly adhering to OSHA safety regulations.
- Perform basic troubleshooting on electrical issues and assist in diagnosing complex problems.
- Install and connect wiring, outlets, switches, fixtures, and control devices.
- Document work performed and report material needs to the foreman.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Physical stamina to work in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and reading tape measures.
- Strong desire to learn the trade and obtain a Colorado Journeyman Electrician license.
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
