Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior technicians with the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, and circuit breakers.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and company protocols to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and your team.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, reporting any necessary repairs or replacements immediately.
- Project Support: Assist with job site preparation, including mounting panels, running conduit, and performing basic troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record are required.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions (hot/cold).
- Math Skills: Basic proficiency in mathematics is essential for calculating loads and measurements.
- Work Ethic: A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills quickly in a fast-paced environment.
