Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as running conduit, stripping wire, and terminating connections.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Test electrical systems to ensure proper operation and troubleshoot basic issues.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project status.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to obtain a state electrical apprenticeship license.
- No prior experience required, but a strong interest in the trade is essential.
