Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Safely operate hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment
- Adhere to OSHA and NFPA safety standards at all job sites
- Install conduit, wiring, fixtures, and electrical components
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and documentation
- Participate in apprenticeship training programs and skill development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in physically demanding conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Willingness to obtain Michigan electrician license within 12 months
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn technical skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
