Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance projects.
- Learn and adhere to all local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Perform basic site preparation, including cleaning work areas and organizing tools and materials.
- Run conduit, pull wire, and assist in the termination of electrical devices.
- Document work performed and report progress to the supervising electrician.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- No prior electrical experience is required; a strong desire to learn is essential.
- Must be physically able to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read blueprints or schematics is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
