Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with residential and commercial electrical installations and repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure all work adheres to local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Organize tools, materials, and workspaces to maintain a safe environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project status.
- Learn to read blueprints and wiring schematics under supervision.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Must be physically fit to handle climbing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating materials.
- Strong willingness to learn and follow safety protocols.
- No prior experience required; trade school certification is a plus but not required.
