Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of complex electrical systems.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as pulling wire, installing outlets, switches, and mounting fixtures.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and electrical schematics to understand project requirements.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and protocols.
- Learn and utilize various hand and power tools effectively and safely.
- Communicate effectively with team members and project managers.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is strongly preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and climb ladders or scaffolding.
- Strong willingness to learn and a positive, coachable attitude.
- Basic math skills for reading measurements, wire gauges, and blueprints.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
