Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with installation, repair, and maintenance tasks.
- Learn to read blueprints and schematic drawings under supervision.
- Prepare work areas by laying out materials and tools efficiently.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes.
- Perform basic maintenance on electrical tools and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
- Transport materials and equipment to and from job sites.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Strong desire to learn and advance in the electrical field.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
