Responsibilities
- Assist Master Electricians: Shadow and support senior technicians on various job sites to learn installation, repair, and maintenance procedures.
- Tool Maintenance: Maintain, clean, and organize electrical tools and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency on the job.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Site Preparation: Prepare work areas by moving materials, setting up scaffolding, and ensuring the workspace is hazard-free.
- Material Handling: Deliver and unload electrical supplies, verify parts against work orders, and assist with basic measurements.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record (required for job site travel).
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Skills: Basic understanding of mathematics and the ability to read simple instructions.
- Attitude: A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic are essential.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
