Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Prepare job sites by laying out necessary tools, materials, and equipment, including conduit, wire, and junction boxes.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as stripping wire, bending conduit, and terminating wires and cables.
- Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical circuits to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering strictly to OSHA safety standards.
- Transport tools and materials to and from job sites as directed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred; vocational training or completion of a trade school program is a plus.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record are required.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, crouch, and stand for extended periods.
- Strong desire to learn the trade and a positive attitude toward safety protocols.
- No prior experience is required; we provide the training.
