Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals to understand project specifications.
- Prepare and assemble materials needed for electrical work, including conduits, wiring, and devices.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Perform basic electrical testing and troubleshooting to ensure system functionality.
- Install and connect electrical systems, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures in residential and commercial settings.
- Document work performed and report any material shortages or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required; technical school certification is a plus.
- No prior experience required; we are looking for eager learners and hard workers.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read and comprehend technical instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety standards.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
