Responsibilities
- Perform Repairs: Diagnose and repair residential and commercial plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and fixture replacements.
- Install Systems: Install new piping systems, water heaters, and drainage solutions according to local codes and manufacturer specifications.
- Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs, provide accurate quotes, and explain technical details in plain English.
- Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future breakdowns.
- Tool Management: Maintain and organize tools and equipment to ensure efficiency and safety on the job site.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman or Master Plumber License in the State of California required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional plumbing experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, using pipe threaders, soldering, and basic welding.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75 lbs), work in tight spaces, and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
