Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior team members with installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Equipment Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe; properly handle and maintain electrical tools and equipment.
- Material Preparation: Help prepare materials for jobs, including cutting wire, stripping cables, and organizing job sites.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Learning & Development: Actively participate in on-the-job training to understand blueprints, schematics, and local electrical codes.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, answering questions and maintaining a positive company image.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We are looking for raw potential and a strong work ethic, not just prior technical knowledge.
- High School Diploma: Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required for job site travel.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfort with basic arithmetic and measurements is a plus.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly.
