Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Electricians: Provide hands-on support during installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Learn Blueprint Reading: Study and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics under supervision.
- Tool Maintenance: Properly handle, clean, and maintain electrical tools and equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols on every job site.
- Site Preparation: Prepare work areas, organize materials, and ensure the job site is clean and safe.
- Basic Troubleshooting: Participate in diagnosing and resolving basic electrical faults under guidance.
- Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with clients, answering questions and maintaining a professional appearance.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is preferred (Apprenticeship programs available).
- License: Valid Driver’s License required (driving to job sites is part of the role).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Math Skills: Basic understanding of arithmetic and measurements.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time work, including weekends and occasional overtime.
- Attitude: Strong willingness to learn, attention to detail, and reliability.
- Background: Clean criminal background check and drug screening required.
