Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Material Handling: Prepare job sites by unloading materials, organizing tools, and ensuring the work area remains clean and safe.
- Basic Installation: Help with pulling wire, installing outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and ceiling fans under supervision.
- Blueprint Reading: Begin learning to interpret basic blueprints and wiring diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, answer basic questions, and maintain a positive company image.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Driver's License: Valid California driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in various weather conditions, and stand for extended periods.
- Basic Math: Strong aptitude for basic math (addition, subtraction, fractions).
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and evenings as needed.
- Attitude: Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and work as part of a team.
- Experience: No prior electrical experience required; we provide training!
