Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Perform basic electrical wiring tasks, including pulling wire, stripping insulation, and connecting outlets and fixtures.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are accounted for.
- Ensure strict adherence to local and national electrical codes (NEC) and company safety protocols.
- Utilize power tools and testing equipment to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; trade school certification is a plus.
- No prior experience necessary; we are looking for candidates with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Basic math skills are essential for calculating loads and measurements.
- Physically capable of performing the duties of the job, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various environments (attics, crawl spaces, heights).
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
