Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics to understand project requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including testing circuits and replacing faulty components.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations.
- Utilize hand and power tools efficiently to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project status and safety concerns.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Basic understanding of mathematics and measurement is preferred.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and potential overtime.
