Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with residential and commercial electrical installations
- Learn and follow National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and safety protocols
- Perform basic wiring, conduit bending, and fixture installations under supervision
- Conduct preliminary inspections and troubleshooting with guidance
- Maintain organized job sites and proper tool/equipment handling
- Complete training modules to achieve journeyman certification requirements
- Document work progress and maintain accurate job records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Strong commitment to safety and willingness to learn technical skills
- Reliable transportation to job sites across the Charlotte metro area
