Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Perform routine inspections to ensure all wiring and fixtures meet local and national building codes (NEC).
- Install and terminate electrical conduits, wires, and cables according to blueprints and specifications.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe by following all OSHA safety regulations.
- Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues to provide effective solutions.
- Prepare and organize tools and materials for daily job assignments.
- Document work completed and communicate progress to the project supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Basic understanding of hand and power tools.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Willingness to obtain required state licensure and certifications.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
