Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on electrical equipment to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
- Adhere strictly to all local and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Prepare work areas, gather necessary materials, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required; technical trade school certification is a plus.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Basic understanding of math and the ability to read measurements.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including standing, climbing ladders, and lifting heavy materials.
- Willingness to obtain a Journeyman Electrician license within a specified timeframe.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety.
