Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with residential and commercial wiring installations.
- Perform basic electrical tasks, including running conduit, stripping wire, and terminating connections.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, adhering to safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Operate power tools, testing meters, and hand tools under the supervision of a certified electrician.
- Assist in troubleshooting and repairing existing electrical systems.
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and organize inventory.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic reading and math skills for blueprint reading and measurements.
- Strong willingness to learn and a positive attitude toward safety.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
