Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Electricians: Support the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read Blueprints: Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and local electrical codes to ensure a safe working environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Inspect, test, and maintain electrical tools and equipment to ensure they are in proper working order.
- Customer Service: Interact with clients and provide updates on project progress in a professional and courteous manner.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized job site by disposing of debris and securing tools after use.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- License: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required for site travel.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn new skills.
- Communication: Basic communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
