What You'll Do
As an Entry Level Electrician, you will work under the supervision of certified journeymen to perform a variety of essential electrical tasks on residential and commercial sites.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and circuit breakers.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan electrical layouts.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure safety compliance.
- Use hand and power tools effectively to complete projects efficiently and accurately.
- Adhere to all local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project requirements are met.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required; trade school background is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and obtain necessary state certifications and licenses.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
