Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior staff in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Material Preparation: Prepare work areas, fetch materials, and organize tools to ensure efficient workflow.
- Blueprint Reading: Learn to interpret electrical blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
- System Testing: Assist in testing and troubleshooting low and high-voltage systems under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and company protocols at all times.
- Site Maintenance: Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe for other crew members.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; technical trade school background is a plus.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver's License: Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
