Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installations, repairs, and maintenance
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical schematics
- Install wiring, conduits, and electrical fixtures per code requirements
- Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems
- Maintain clean and organized job sites with proper safety protocols
- Document work progress and maintain equipment inventory
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- No prior electrical experience required - we train from scratch!
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various conditions
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Willingness to obtain North Carolina electrical license within 2 years
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
