Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Install conduits, wiring, switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures
- Perform safety inspections and ensure compliance with OSHA/NFPA standards
- Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical issues
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and proper tool inventory
- Complete training modules to progress toward journeyman status
Qualifications
- No prior electrical experience required – we train from the ground up!
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Willingness to travel within North Carolina for project assignments
- Pass background check and drug screening
