Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Install and wire fixtures, switches, outlets, and control equipment
- Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical components
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and building codes
- Organize and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas
- Participate in hands-on training and skill development programs
- Document work activities and maintain project records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic understanding of electrical concepts or strong willingness to learn
- Commitment to safety and attention to detail
- Reliable transportation to job sites throughout Columbus
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments
