Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Install and maintain conduits, wiring, fixtures, and electrical components
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA standards at all times
- Perform inspections and troubleshooting under supervision
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Complete training modules and skill assessments
- Document work progress and material usage
Qualifications
- No prior electrical experience required – training provided!
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to travel to job sites within Kansas City metro
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Commitment to completing our 6-month apprenticeship program
