Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial properties
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Comply with all National Electrical Code (NEC) and Louisiana safety regulations
- Operate power tools and diagnostic equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist senior electricians in troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues
- Document work performed and maintain organized project records
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Physical ability to work in confined spaces and climb ladders
- Basic math skills for measurements and load calculations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Willingness to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
- No prior electrical experience required - training provided
- Reliable transportation to job sites across the Greater New Orleans area
