Responsibilities
- Assist skilled trades with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand/power tools under supervision
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain organized work areas
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying materials
- Assist in building structures, foundations, and site layouts
- Participate in daily toolbox meetings and training sessions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measuring and material calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Houston metro
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
