Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with residential and commercial wiring installations
- Learn to read blueprints and technical schematics
- Perform basic circuit testing and troubleshooting under supervision
- Conduct safety inspections and maintain clean work sites
- Install and maintain lighting systems, outlets, and switches
- Document work progress and maintain equipment inventory
- Adhere to all electrical codes and safety protocols
Qualifications
- No prior electrical experience required – training provided!
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to obtain required certifications (paid for by employer)
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Positive attitude and commitment to safety-first practices
