Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety regulations
- Assist senior electricians with troubleshooting and diagnostic tasks
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment
- Use specialized tools and diagnostic equipment accurately
- Document work progress and maintain detailed service records
- Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate electrical installations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of recognized electrical trade program preferred
- Basic understanding of electrical theory and circuit fundamentals
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude skills
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
